WASHINGTON (Reuters) - US President Donald Trump said on Monday he expected to push forward a 200-billion-dollar increase in tariffs on Chinese goods to 25 percent from 10 percent now.

In an interview with The Wall Street Journal, Trump said it was "highly unlikely" that he would accept Beijing's request for a moratorium on tariff increases.

He added that he would go ahead with imposing duties on the rest of China's goods if negotiations with Beijing failed.

Trump is scheduled to meet Chinese President Xi Jinping at the G20 summit in Buenos Aires on Friday
