A total of 190 countries have confirmed their participation in the World Expo, with the launching of the third international participants' meeting in the Expo 2020, to be held on November 26-27, Expo Expo 2020 organizers said in a statement on Monday.

 

"The United Arab Emirates has exceeded the target number of countries participating in the bid to host the Expo, almost two years before its launch," the statement said.

 

The first meeting of international participants was held in 2016.

"Expo 2020 will present Dubai to every country around the world with the opportunity to introduce its culture, ideas and innovations, and show all this to millions of visitors," said RIM Bint Ibrahim Al Hashemi, UAE Minister of State for International Cooperation and Director General of Expo 2020.
