The Syrian pavilion at the forty-fifth session of the Baghdad International Fair will be issued by the international pavilions participating in the popular appeal, direct selling and commercial marketing.
 
The pavilion achieved the highest rate of visitors, exceeding a quarter of a million Iraqi visitors, while Syrian companies participating in the pavilion achieved the highest direct sales of their exhibits, some of which ran out before the closing of the exhibition.
 
Syrian companies have entered into contracts to export their products to Iraqi suppliers and special agencies have been granted to Iraqi companies that are marketing Syrian food, agricultural, health, cosmetic and textile products to Iraqi markets.
 
For his part, Sadiq Abbas, President of the Syrian-Iraqi Chamber of Commerce, noted the great success achieved by the Syrian wing at the Baghdad International Fair.
 
"The Syrian wing, which was built on an area of ​​250 square meters, witnessed a popular turnout exceeding the expected," Abbas said in a statement to the SANA correspondent in Baghdad. "The Iraqi consumer pays special attention to Syrian products because of their quality, durability and harmony with the Iraqi mood.
 
Abbas also expressed his hope to repeat the experience of the Syrian opposition in Baghdad and the major provinces.
 
Engineer Hashim Al Ani, Director General of the General Company for Iraqi Exhibitions, expressed his happiness with the remarkable success achieved by the Syrian wing at the Baghdad International Fair.
 
Al-Ani said that the success of the Syrian wing in attracting the largest number of the Iraqi public is a clear indication of the attention of this public to Syrian products and its high confidence in them.
 
Al-Ani stressed that the General Company of Iraqi Exhibitions responsible for the establishment of the Baghdad International Fair pays particular attention to Syria's participation every year because it is well aware of the mass appeal of Syrian goods. He hoped that Syria's participation in the next forty-sixth session of the Baghdad International Fair will be broader and more comprehensive.
 
The General Company for Iraqi Exhibitions announced today the conclusion of the 45th session of the Baghdad International Fair with the participation of 18 Arab and foreign countries and 700 local and foreign companies.
 
The company said in a statement that the current session witnessed a special participation of countries and companies representing the private, public and mixed sectors, as well as an intensive program of seminars, meetings and agreements between representatives of the participating companies, a step towards strengthening partnerships and participation in investment projects.
