He explained that CSR should not stand in the way of voluntary contributions to projects and development programs and charity. There are areas of work and principles that must be adhered to, especially that these areas and principles will benefit societies and countries that adopt social responsibility as well as increase the ability to attract and retain employees.
 
Dr. Amer Kharbotli, Director of the Damascus Chamber of Commerce, defines the most important ethical and social responsibility rules that private companies must adhere to by providing employers with safe working conditions for all employees, not exposing them to dangerous practices and work, and not forcing anyone to work, As well as ensuring decent housing that is clean and safe, meets the basic needs of workers, does not abuse physical or sexual abuse, harassment or verbal abuse, and respects the rights of employees to join unions, organize associations of their choice and non-discrimination against a representative But workers to help them implement their jobs in the field of employment.
