The cultivation of the autumn loops of many crops has become a source of income for families that provide employment opportunities for many families that depend on them as a main source of income in the area of ​​Sa'sa in the south-western Damascus countryside.

 

In a tour of the SANA correspondent to a farm in Sa'sa, many farmers stressed the importance of these crops after the success of the experiment.

 

Fawaz Mal, the head of the cooperative society in the town of Saasa, pointed out that he cultivated large areas of pea crop for the fallow hill, benefiting from the nature of the village lands and the moderate weather and providing irrigation water from the Awaj river, indicating that the project provides jobs for more than twenty families from the town.

 

Autumn agriculture according to the President of the Association is a source of income for many rural families, especially with the onset of winter and the increasing requirements of the family for many winter supplies.

 

Mrs. Souad Khalifa explained that many women work in agricultural seasons because of the ease of work, atmosphere and cooperation between women and girls at work.

 

Amal Ksawani explained that most of the agricultural workers are women and this is proof that rural women work side by side with men and help them with household burdens and household expenses.
