The industrial city of Umm El Zaytoun has transferred 100 million lira to the General Authority for Electricity Transmission to start the implementation of the electrical transfer station 66/20 KV, at an estimated cost of one billion and 900 million lira.
 
The director of the industrial city, Engineer Alaa Abu Ammar said in a statement to the SANA correspondent today that the implementation of this plant is the electrical nutrition of the industrial city and achieve stability in the work of various industries, professions and crafts in which it will work.
 
On the other hand, Eng. Abu Ammar pointed out that the construction of the administrative headquarters of the Industrial City has been completed and work is under way to organize a contract extension to complete the work of the general site of the building of the fence,
 
Abu Ammar said that the infrastructure works for the first phase are nearing completion and the implementation of the second phase of the work within the chemical and food industrial sectors, including the settlement and construction of roads.
 
The management of the industrial city of Umm al-Zeitoun recently contracted with the University of Damascus to prepare a study for a sewage treatment plant.
