The Director of the Halabi Pistachio Office at the Ministry of Agriculture Eng. Hassan Ibrahim said that a program has been established to breed and hybridize the assets and varieties of pistachios and to work on developing a pest management program and providing appropriate technical guidance through a number of field trips.

 

He pointed out that field trips were carried out on the fields of pistachio milking in the northern countryside of the province of Hama, where the epidemiological spread of many insect pests, especially peanut pistachios, bacillus sprouts, karmania and flora, indicating that a study will be submitted on the need for some trees for rehabilitation and treatment.

 

Ibrahim pointed out that a matrix of problems related to production and marketing was put in place, suitable solutions were put in place, the production field was won in the production matches in the town of Qamhmaneh, an IPM seminar was held in Al-Salmiya and Sheikh Ali Kasoun and a guide film was prepared after a visit to the pistachio peeling unit Work and conduct meetings with farmers in Zaghran Salmiya to know the importance of organic fertilization and methods of manufacturing organic fertilizers and compost.
