The participants in the third annual conference of the Central Agency for Financial Supervision, which started today in Al Assad Library, discussed the performance mechanisms of the Central Agency in protecting public funds, combating corruption and the implementation of the 2018 plan of action and the plan for 2019.
 
The head of the agency Mohamed Barq said that the conference comes under the title of strengthening the role of the central body in the protection of public money after the Cabinet approved a national anti-corruption project recently, pointing out that the main objective of the work of the anti-corruption and the protection of public money and is concerned directly or indirectly .
 
The focus of the conference was on mechanisms to organize and employ efforts, standardize the monitoring process and develop a strategy to enhance the role of the central body through discussing the proposals of the directors of departments and directorates in the center and branches and their assistants participating in the conference.
 
For his part, Khalil Alaa al-Din, the deputy of the Central Agency supervising the public sector economic pointed out in a statement to the need to focus on the preventive control of the body that prevents the occurrence of error or embezzlement and thus the availability of billions of pounds before losing, indicating that there are many means to protect public money, On performance.
 
Aladdin pointed out that the economic feasibility of many investment projects carried out by public institutions has been discussed stressing the need to consolidate moral values ​​in the work to reduce the phenomenon of corruption.
 
In a similar statement, Ahmed Al-Mulhan, Undersecretary of the Central Agency for Financial Supervision pointed out that the labor problems were discussed during the conference sessions because the sector of the association is interested in everything related to the career status of the employees since their appointment and even their referral to the pension, especially the subjects of competitions, promotions and transport. In addition to the supervision of workers' instruments and the difficulties they face, some of which are to be resolved by the management of the system.
 
Dr. Mansour Mansour, Director of Studies and Follow-up in the Agency, noted the importance of the conference in creating the opportunity to meet with all the technical staff of the branches of the system in the governorates, thus presenting problems and possible solutions directly and translating them on the ground in circulars or workshops.
 
The second annual conference of the Central Agency for Financial Supervision was held in April 2016 and the Central Agency for Financial Supervision is defined as an independent regulatory body linked to the Prime Minister and aims to achieve effective control over the state funds and follow up the performance of administrative and economic executive bodies of their financial responsibilities and specializes in auditing and checking their accounts .
