Our History

The regional office of Arab Exporters and Importers union - Syria was established in accordance  with the Legislative Decree No. 306, dated on 27/08/2018 and was officially opened at 4:00 pm on Monday with the presence of a number of Arab Assistant Ministers, Arab Ambassadors, Arab businessmen and the President of the Union of Arab Exporters and Importers.
The opening was under the patronage of the Minister of economy and trade       Dr. Amer Lotfi and representatives of the press, radio and television.
The goals of the Office and the Union:
    Improving and developing the commercial exchange between the Arab countries.
    Facilitating and flowing goods of Arab origin.
    Activating the Syrian exporting and intra-Arab trade.
    Strengthening Arab trade and raising the Syrian voice in Arab, regional and international economic forums.


The most important achievements of the Regional Office in this field are:
Signing cooperation protocols with:
    Arab Investment & Export Credit Guarantee Corporation – Kuwait
    Arab Trade Finance Program - United Arab Emirates
In addition to signing several protocols with local bodies, organizations and destinations.
